I’m looking forward to the evenings
‘cause Solitude comes to visit
at 9pm every. single. time.
She storms in -
“Baby, I’m home” - she’s whispering -
“we can watch a movie or maybe stare at the ceiling”

I’m looking forward to the evenings
‘cause there’s that part of me listening
to Silence, my oldest friend,
and thoughts are running wild, picturing
how it will all turn out in the end

I’m looking forward to the evenings
‘cause there’s this purple light flashing
near my barely open window
bringing in Unease who -
right before the dawn - is rushing in

Now I’m looking forward to looking forward to the mornings
‘cause there’s Flame inside me
screaming to be let out -
to light up my evenings
to accompany Solitude out the door
to silence Silence
to comfort Unease
to go out my barely open window -
and light my the whole world.
